At Resilience To Recovery our Allied Health professionals provide a broad range of diagnostic, technical, therapeutic and direct health services to improve the health and wellbeing of the consumers they support.
Allied Health Professionals
Allied health professionals use an enablement approach to work with people with disabilities towards improving their health, wellness and capacity to participate in everyday life- at home, school or the workplace. Allied health practitioners also diagnose health issues arising as a result of a disability, support the disabled person with strategies to manage the disability, and provide therapeutic care.

Psychologists
Psychologists draw on an ever-expanding body of scientific knowledge about how we think, act and feel to provide informed assessment and tested strategy development to help overcome learning difficulties, dealing with sexuality issues, emotional trauma, navigating life with depression, anxiety, or dementia and many other challenges.
Speech Pathologists
Our Speech pathologist help assess and treat the needs of people in particular with speech and swallowing difficulties. Sessions focus on developing these skills and can be provided at home in a safe comfortable environment.
Occupational Therapists
Occupational therapists: assess and intervene with strategies to enable people with disabilities to be as independent as possible, and to participate in meaningful self-care, leisure and productive activities within a range of home and community contexts.
Nurses
General care takers that apply their training in your home environment. They will provide support with physical tasks as well as guidance and accountability for eating, personal care and taking medications.
Social Workers
General care takers who focus on providing support for those going through challenges in their lives. This help takes the form of emotional support and guidance as well as helping you develop practical strategies to cope overcome the life challenges.
Therapy Assistants
Taking a supporting role, these therapy assistance help you put into action strategies that have been developed to meet your goals. They walk closely beside you to make sure you get the benefits you planned to get!
