Multicultural Disability Fashion Show

At Resilience To Recovery, we are a firm believer in supporting the talents and capabilities of each participant and support worker. As our motto goes, we work together, we grow together, and we build together.

For this reason we have organised an important event on the 22nd of August to celebrate the hard work of one our support workers Rajaa Kadhim who is a refugee from Iraq. Rajaa is not only a support worker at Resilience to Recovery, but she is also an extremely talented fashion designer and artist.

We look forward to the Fashion show event where Rajaa will display all of her designs on our participants.

At Resilience To Recovery we believe that inclusiveness and visibility is integral to our work and our aims. Only this way can we move forward towards destroying stigma and stereotypes about differently abled bodied people in our communities.
