At Resilience to Recovery we provide a number of services, one of which is providing homework help to our younger participants. Many of our participants are students at various stages of their education. Often these students do not receive adequate support during school and require additional help and support.
Our specially trained support workers provide in-depth education and support to these struggling students. Some of our student participants are also refugees who have recently arrived in Australia and may encounter a number of additional issues including language and cultural barriers. Often times their families have also experienced significant trauma while also struggling to learn English and adapt to the new adopted country. For this reason, we pride ourselves in reducing the burden on the families while also building a stronger connection and bong with our student participants.
